2020 Focus on Art –Supporting the Students
Back during the bleak times of World War II, Winston Churchill was told that Britain should cut funds to the arts to support the war effort instead. “Then, what are we fighting for?” Churchill responded.
The heart and soul of a nation is reflected in its culture, especially its art. As the whole world continues to shift and change during the global pandemic, our mission at Barnstone Studios continues to be fostering an appreciation of fine art, and helping to make art education accessible to all who desire to develop their skills, enrich their lives, and learn to draw very well.

Of course most of us are ALWAYS focusing on art — how to make it, how to sell it, how to buy it, and how to use it to enrich every area of our lives. But this year really says it all — 2020 — for bringing every aspect of art appreciation into clear focus in a powerful, positive way.

Barnstone Studios Historic Firsts
The last 2 years have marked some historic “firsts” for Barnstone Studios. In October of 2017, a year after Myron Barnstone’s death at the age of 83, we had an emotional Homecoming event at the original Barnstone Studios location in Coplay, PA.
